A code that uniquely identifies a course

Interpretation / Usage Notes:

Course ID is intended to identify a course across terms. One course may be represented by more than one Course ID, though two courses should not have the same Course ID, except in cases where the same is course offered under different catalog numbers.

Potential Values:

A six-digit number.
